This is the third year of our school’s gifted and talented pull out program. This is the first time that our gifted students and higher level students have had the opportunity to participate in engaging activities that their regular classroom teacher may not have time to touch on in their classroom. I have bought a lot of materials myself for students to complete different STEM activities over the last two years, and not only do the students enjoy these projects but it helps them become engineers, better thinkers, and better learners. By funding this project, you are helping my students gain access to materials that we do not have access to in our school. Our students deserve to have the same opportunities as students in less rural
areas, and this will help our students tremendously.
About my class
