Because of COVID-19, my students have fallen behind in reading. We have gone between learning virtually and back to the classroom. My goal is to catch students up in reading in a way that will be interesting, engaging, and educational. Scholastic News engages students in kid-friendly current events, building their interests in informational texts and build their reading skills. Scholastic News has lesson plans that meet State Standards, have Text-to-Speech audio, videos, Spanish translations, and more. Scholastic News is a great way to incorporate reading in a fun, exciting way.

About my class
