The sit spots will be a great way for students to get their wiggles out but also to continue to pay attention in class! Especially for students with extra needs, this will be a great way to help all my students. Many early elementary students have a hard time sitting in their seats for an extended amount of time. My students, in particular, can be more sensitive to this and this would be a great way for them to use their requesting skills and to continue participation in the class.
This will really help increase the attention of my students and make sure they are receiving as much learning as they can get!
The math manipulatives will encourage solid growth for my students with disabilities. This will help them to use a variety of ways to learn their math skills as they are continuing their academic journey. A lot of students need different ways to figure out how a certain problem may yield a result and this can really help my students to increase their academic skills.
