Because standardized testing is computer based, my students need access to computers to be able to get used to the new testing styles and more practice with math online. We will be using programs like Khan Academy to enhance their skills so that they can get better scores on the their SATs, SBAC, and other state exams.
We have found that without access to computers, students struggle with the using them effectively, which then makes test taking more difficult than it should be. Over the last couple years we have bought a program that will help increase math test scores and this assessment/progress tool needs to be administered using a computer.
