The motor lab will help students gain skills that they are missing when they come to kindergarten. Learning to gain better control of their bodies and where they are "in space" is a skill that is missing from most of our kindergarten children.
Jumping, spinning, and rocking are all ways that students gain control of their bodies. Unfortunately, our students are often sitting on the couch, watching TV instead of outside rolling down the hills, jumping rope and spinning on swings. We would like to be able to provide activities for our students to gain these skills while they are at school.
