My project will instill creativity in students as they use historical methods to pose difficult questions and seek unlikely answers.
Creativity allows students to reflect over past events in a stress-free environment that inspires them to seek new ways of knowing and helps develop healthy imaginations, which leads to innovative thinking. By learning applicable history, students begin to develop problem-solving techniques that help them transition into adulthood. It is essential that students learn how to form thoughts and translate them through non-traditional methods. And it is pure joy to watch them interact in new and varying ways, such as working on class murals and freehand map making.
