Students will be able to flourish in their classroom setting by learning vital coping and friendship skills. The books will teach lessons in a non-confrontational manner and allow students to apply those hypothetical situations to scenarios from their own lives. The social-emotional games will provide an alternative forum to practice skills which will be encouraged to be utilized in the classroom. Lastly, the sensory tools will assist the students to manage their attention and anxiety in order to successfully implement appropriate coping skills in the classroom. With these items, special needs students have the opportunity to spend more time in the classroom with their same-aged peers!
