Students learn in a variety of ways. Some students require movement to help them focus. My students will have the opportunity to use these stools throughout the day while reading, writing and working within groups. They will be able to wiggle and move while staying in their seats and completing the days activities. Giving students a place to be comfortable and an alternative to standard classroom chairs will increase their productivity.
I will start by using these stools during small groups and stations. As students learn to be responsible, they will be given opportunities to choose these stools as their primary seat for classwork.
