How often do you use a computer at work? I use one every day. Most middle and upper class students have access to computers and the internet. Many students in my class don’t have that. This is a great way to stay competitive and tech-savvy. My students deserve adequate technology access every day. I believe blended learning is the future, and it shouldn’t be available exclusively to the wealthy. My students deserve to have access to and experience with technology on a consistent daily basis to foster their independent learning. Having 1:1 access to Chromebooks can change my teaching to a more student centered approach and change students’ learning.
By donating to our project, you can allow students who don’t have consistent access to chrome books the ability to develop tech literacy to compete with wealthy peers. Additionally, I can incorporate more lessons with technology and more individualized instruction and feedback.
