My students spend a great portion of their day in our discovery area. They more they have to discover, the more their creative minds can explore. They all enjoy fun and different manipulatives. Since my students spend a portion of each school day in discovery, the more they have, the better. Exploring is the key to a creative mind! If my students only have a small portion of items to choose from and explore, they will become uninterested and not want to be in discovery. This is why I am asking for items to fill this area, this way, they can explore many things while they are there without becoming bored and enjoy being creative!
