At my school, I want to promote the creation of calming corners/peaceful areas for all classrooms. I firmly believe that making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them and supporting them in focusing on completing their work. If the students learn to use tools to help them to self-regulate, they will feel better, ready to learn, and less disruptive to their peers. The items I selected will be extremely beneficial for the students that need to get the wiggles out. In addition, these are creative and helpful for the students to take a break, and calm down.

About my class
