These new books will become part of a take-home lending library for my students. Each book placed in the library will be highlighted with the students to create interest and excitement, hooking them from the start. Since most of my students do not have access to books at home, these books will help to remove that barrier. Students will be encouraged to take the books home and share them with their families, working to create a love of literacy both at school AND at home! All of the books have been chosen with the students in mind, and will enrich their experiences as readers.
