Students with delays should learn in environments where they are most comfortable. I would like to give my students the first of choice in learning environment. My students would have the option to use floor desks, stools and have reduced glare and calm lighting.
Some of my students often feel a sense of gloom as it pertains to their educational ability. I would like to make the learning environment as comfortable as possible to ease this for them. I want my students to feel joy in their learning environment with the hopes that that joy will transfer into the joy and pride they feel in their work effort.
Often, learners have no control over their learning environment. I think that with flexible seating the students feel a sense of control and can learn where they feel best.
