The use of Chromebooks in a mathematics classroom will allow students to problem solve using online learning tools that will challenge them in a variety of ways that may not otherwise be presented to them. Online tools such as Desmos, Quizziz, Kahoot, and Google Classroom give students more engaging ways to learn and think critically. With Desmos, students can manipulate and discover the relationships between functions, tables, graphs and the real world situations that they represent. My students will also have the exposure necessary to compete with their peers from other school districts around the state and nationally with the use of these Chromebooks.
