Our school focuses on Social Emotional Learning, and restorative practices. The items selected will help reiterate the vision and mission our school. It will also provide students with tools and skills necessary to be successful. When students are self-aware of their feelings and emotions they can begin to use the skills taught such as music, to calm themselves down, meditation items to refocus, and coloring or stress objects to help them make better choices.
As a Social Social Worker, I would like to assist in any way possible to provide alternatives to negative behaviors and therefore help students become successful citizens in the community.
About my class
