One of the most popular instruments in my band is the flute. There are several reasons; most girls (and a few boys) love to play it, it's small, light, and easy to carry, and it sounds beautiful! When students have the equipment and resources they need to learn and grow as young musicians, it makes a world of difference! As a result of having an instrument, equipment, and resources for participating in band, students achieve more and their self confidence really improves. Participating in band and learning to play an instrument is very hands on. By providing flutes for students, it will provide them with the awesome hands on learning they'll need!
