The use of an inkjet printer and ceramic tools will allow students to explore and gain experience using technology and the element of form. This project will increase and educate students awareness of art and come to understand the importance of different art forms and the impact they can have when working in a group of different learning styles. This project will allow students to contribute and challenge themselves based on their skills and knowledge as well as their interests.
Students will learn how to incorporate technology with other medias in art, create a personal style that brings connection, relevance and purpose to the artists creating a community artwork.
Students will gain team building skills, critical thinking, gain experience combining technology and other media in order to create a personal connection to their community and the impact art can be used. The hope of this project is to break down the barriers of the present students as well as those to come.
About my class
