Teaching in an open concept school has many advantages but unfortunately, it has some disadvantages. Our school is limited on storage space. This means we don't have personal cubbies to put students' supplies. Students have their items at their shared table. While some students are able to keep on task, others get distracted with all the items out. This makes learning a little more difficult. Chair storage sacks mean students can still have their supplies within reach and have a clean learning environment. It also teaches them organization skills by keeping the bag neat and tidy. Students will keep their crayons, scissors, pencils, and folder for their papers in their chair storage bags.
