Having food options in the classroom allows the students to not have to focus on what they will eat. Miss breakfast? No worries, we have oatmeal and breakfast bars. The same goes for lunch. Many of my students do not know where their next meal is coming fro besides school lunch. Having food options in the classroom can elevate this worry while at school. Giving my students flexible seating options will allow them the opportunity to be in a comfortable and safe environment to optimize their learning. With not having to worry about how they are sitting, my students will better be able to focus on their learning. Through the use of flexible seating they will be calmer and more collected allowing for much more immersion in the material being studied.
