Technology does so much for students today. In elementary school, iPads will allow my students to access different apps to improve their math, science, and literacy skills. The iPads give the students opportunity to work independently on skills at their evel. Some skills that my students can work on using the iPad are counting numbers, adding, subtracting, letters and letter sounds, blending, and reading fluency and comprehension.
This is important for all students. I have some students who are working below grade level and can use apps to work on skills that will help them catch up. I also have students who are working above grade level and can use the iPad to work on skills to continue to challenge and push them.
