Hi! I'm Ms. Nickel, Vanalden Avenue Elementary's Instructional Technology Coordinator! I teach in Room 20, aka "The Orchard" (so aptly renamed because of all the "Apple" computers)! I get to teach each and every single student, UTK-5th, at my school! Each student comes to The Orchard once a week for a lesson in Digital Citizenship, Digital Literacy, Computing, Typing, Coding, Google Suite, Canva, Robotics, 3D Printing, AI, and more, based on their grade level. I absolutely LOVE getting to work with each and every student and doing my best to help close the digital divide for my students and provide them opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have received.
