These leveled books will be a great for my students to help them become readers. We currently don't have any books that students can take home to read. I will love to start a home reading program, as research shows that students build reading fluency with practice. Students will have a book bag with books at their independent level that will be taken home daily. Students will practice reading and increase their reading fluency. Parents will help their child practice reading strategies that have been taught in class to reinforce those skills. Many of my students don't have access or resources at home to help them practice their reading. These books will help them practice reading and will build a strong and supportive relationship with parents.
