My students are a part of a title one school and most come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. Many of my students are not provided with many books at home. A lot of the students come to me reading below grade level. A vibrant classroom library will help boost their literacy levels, while nurturing a love for reading. The books that will be provided for my students can be used during teacher read alouds, shared group reading, and independent reading time. I cannot wait to add books to our library and to watch my students' imagination and love for reading take flight. Thank you!
