Flexible seating is a way to create an engaging, active, yet comfortable learning environment for my students. My students will be able to choose their seat that works best for them each day. This will allow them to work around the classroom, stay comfortable, and also stay focused. It is not a traditional classroom arrangement, but research has shown many benefits that flexible seating provides! Many students in kindergarten need to get the wiggles out. They have difficulty sitting at a desk or in a hard chair. This project will allow all of my students to be able to make a more comfortable, flexible choice for the learning that day.
