These tools and materials will enable me to individualize the content each of my students is working on as they spend their Resource class in my office to address those areas of deficit identified in their IEPs (Reading, Written Expression, and Math).
After whole-group instruction in reading, I'll alternate between children working on math concepts and calculation, teaching a mini-lesson on my dry erase board, and checking in on other students who are listening to a text-to-speech program as they read an instructional-level passage on their Chromebooks.
Having Chromebooks available would also allow my students to access high-quality instructional software.
