These materials will increase accessibility and understanding of money values in real world settings. Student will be presented with menus from various store circulars. They will make a list of materials they need and calculate totals and change using talking calculators and present the value using the play money
Having Talking Calculators and play money will help my students learn the skills necessary to be able to be independent once they finish school, they will also provide support for visually impaired students as well as students who struggle with number identification.
Providing these skills for special needs student is crucial.
