The tools I've put on my wishlist would benefit my class tremendously. Focusing on something is a huge challenge, and the watches has great success rates for helping students refocus, which will ultimately help with material retention and grade improvement. We work in small groups, but there is a need for students to work on things independently when they're not at the teacher table—and the watches can help them stay on task. The social skills board game will be used to help further enhance our social skills curriculum. Having fun, interactive board games will allow us to practice real world social skills. Some of my students struggle with friendship, anger, accepting consequences, and appropriate behaviors during interactions with typical peers and in everyday life.
Being able to practice these skills in a familiar setting and in a fun way will help assist these students in all areas of their life. Kids of all ages love games! Having games that target these necessary skills for my kids will help liven up our curriculum.
