I want to choose the road not taken in education and build a STEAM English class. I believe that working across the curriculum would improve literacy skills and help students make connections to the real-world. This class focuses on the interest, talents, and career choices of all the students. If a student likes art, then they will read, write, and complete projects about it using the books and art materials. If a student wants to produce a podcast, then the Snowball Microphone will help complete this task. Students are individuals, and education should be about helping them find a path to take.

About my class
