I want to bring more STEM activities into my classroom and allow my class the opportunities the students have at other STEM programs. After seeing how these materials allowed students to advance their thinking in a partnership program, I knew I wanted to give this opportunity to my students. The possibilities for projects with these materials are endless. We will do an entire coding unit which will take about 2 months using the whole group lessons with the maze, then use the different coding bees and mouse to practice using programming language. Then, we will do several projects where the students use coding. The coding materials will be used as centers throughout the year even after the unit is complete.

About my class
