I am a new ELD (English language development) teacher, and I need to gather books for my independent library (classroom library). The books I am asking for are part of the curriculum and it will help my students to develop their English reading skills. Supplies will be used in writing activities and motivational activities that will help them to improve in the English language. The books I am selecting are not only part of the curriculum, but they also reflect the life and struggles of my students. In addition, I will be able to use the same books for years to come.
