Math can be a little daunting until you learn to speak the language. For many learners, simply seeing numbers on a paper is not enough to comprehend why numbers and patterns behave the way they do. These math manipulatives will help all learners, especially visual and tactile learners, understand math conceptually. Math will makes sense as they begin to see and predict patterns, identify connections across units, and use previous knowledge to make sense of current problems. Let’s face it, it’s difficult to sit still for long periods of time, and learning requires engagement and focus. Students will benefit from flex seating so they can channel their energy into learning.
