Unfortunately, my students are not always exposed to many, if any, books on their reading. One of our new initiates is guided reading and we are working to ensure there are enough books in our classrooms for students to enjoy and learn from. Books that can both be read to them and that they can read independently. The excitement on my students' faces when I bring out a new book to read is contagious! My goal is to fill our classroom with everything they need to become successful readers and learn to enjoy it. My students will be able to enjoy these books on encouragement, being kind, and acceptance.
