Space in a kindergarten classroom is essential! Room to play, learn, and explore is the most essential component to a high quality learning environment. In my classroom, large cubbies and shelves currently take up tons of valuable space that could be better used for rich learning and movement activities critical for developing young learners' brains, bodies, and hearts.
The donations to this project will help to give my students more space to be themselves, in every wonderful way. The space saved by modifying the current classroom structure will allow for expanded room for our classroom library, choice time activities, and allow me to space the tables in a way that the students feel more comfortable and at home in their classroom environment - something every child should feel.
