My students are currently using hand me down yoga balls as a flexible seating option. Many are too short to use these and frequently have to catch themselves to keep from falling off. I would like to offer an alternative choice at a different height since my students span six grade levels. These will enable all of my students to choose a flexible seating option that works for them.
New flexible seating , headphones, and colored bins for independent work will allow my students to have a successful year of learning! Colored bins will make it easy for students to quickly grab their individual, independent work bin and take it to their seat. This will enable our center time to run smoothly giving my students more time for small group instruction.
Many of my students are on the autism spectrum which makes them sensitive to sounds and other stimuli that happen during the school day. They often become overwhelmed when the iPads and computers are being used at one time without headphones. Unfortunately I do not have resources available to get headphones for them.
Thank you for helping me get the items my exceptional students need to succeed!
