These stem (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities will make a difference in the 19 students I teach through providing hands on activities that will promote problem solving and critical thinking skills. When students finish an assignment, I'd like to have stem activities easily accessible for students to grab and work on independently or with a partner. We will also use these kits each week during our STEM rotations. By engaging student learning with these kits, it is my hope to spark in an interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and prepare students to become innovators of our future!
