My project is designed to make cross curricular connections between science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM). I found that by incorporating art into multiple lessons, I was able to keep my students engaged and on task.
My students are able to learn healthy ways to express themselves and their understanding of subject matter with the use of art. Some students do not have access to art supplies in their homes and need support from teachers to provide them with the opportunity to learn through art. Help us make our classroom dreams a reality by supporting the arts in our 3rd grade classroom.
