Practice is so important for beginning readers! My 19 students are excited to learn read this year. Many of them have do not have any books at home. Our school is located in an area where families are barely getting by. Unfortunately, books are a luxury and many cannot afford to buy them.
Please help me reach my goal of giving every student in my class at least one book of their own each month. I believe that they will be better readers if they practice, and reading together promotes family unity. My students will greatly benefit from this project!
