I strongly believe in process art as a supplement to instruction the in the classroom. Process art is art with a primary focus on the process rather than the product. I have added several items to help me facilitate this in my classroom!
Developing an interest in reading, and a love for books, creates a lifelong reader with an investment in the world around them. First graders make a HUGE jump in their reading throughout the year through a good teacher, willingness to learn, and authentic/diverse texts.
