The materials I have chosen for this project will impact my classroom by providing my students with a variety of literature. Many of the students I serve have special needs or are English language learners, and would benefit from having access to popular and age-appropriate literature in their first language. A majority of my students do not have access to books that they are interested in and it is my goal to provide them with stories that they truly want to read. I would love to be able to provide my students with a book that sparks a love for reading that lasts a lifetime.
