These Reading items will really enhance our reading workshop. The students need a place to have Socratic seminars and collaborate with each other. Reading skills are essential for 21st Century Scholars!!! To enhance the skills of my fifth graders, the students will engage in daily Reading workshops. A reading workshop center will be set up for the students to collaborate and have group discussions as well as Read independently. The students will also work in centers engaging in fun reading activities to enhance their overall Reading skills. They will analyze, decode, infer, conclude, predict, synthesize, summarize, and comprehend to make overall meaning. A classroom rug designed to help with Socratic Seminar and beanbag chairs will make this project come alive!!!
