Many students with disabilities have sensory processing difficulties and/or a constant need for movement-based sensory input. Sometimes these needs make it difficult for students with special needs to engage in learning.
Alternative seating and sensory tools like wobble chairs and noise-canceling headphones help students meet some of those needs.
Flexible seating and sensory tools will provide our students with many benefits such as: increase on-task behaviors, improved posture and muscle tone, sensory input, a way to burn energy, and increased blood flow.
Please help fund my project so that my students can have alternative seating options and the tools they need to help them stay focused and learn!
