Students will learn about chemical interactions, biodiversity, ecosystems, weather, and water. We can not store our specimens without using a refrigerator. We need a fan so that we can concentrate. We also have students with special needs who are sensitive to extreme temperatures. Also, most of our students are food insecure. We offer them food in the mornings and snacks. It is hard for students to concentrate on an empty stomach. Therefore, we are in need of a refrigerator so that we can store food and science materials. Students will be learning about science in a culturally relevant way. Students will be actively working in groups and the brainstorming the latest science and engineering problems as they lead their own investigations using the scientific method.
