So many of our students have sensory processing disorder and I feel that the Tactile Letters will enrich their learning by targeting those sensory needs. Our non-verbal students, or hearing impaired students can use these to begin their relationship with letters and language. Learn the Shapes play-dough mats will help them learn to form the letters in an engaging and fun way.
Using Magnetic Shape Sorting Rods as well as the Early language Activity Boxes will help students to better develop receptive and expressive language.
Geostix and blocks help develop spacial awareness as well as beginning to recognize patterns. Through the GeoStix and Blocks and Blueprints students can begin to first, copy and understand patterns and following directions, and then learn to access their creativity by using blocks or sticks in new ways, as well as learn to draw their own blueprints and bring their creations to life.
