Speed Stacks is a way for students to have fun while developing motor skills, patterning, sequencing, focus and concentration. It promotes hand-eye coordination and ambidexterity, which are important skills in any sports. Speed Stacks not only promotes physical fitness, but also academic learning. The academic aspect is achieved by students using both their right and left sides of their brain.
I can also use Speed Stacks with all the grades. Kindergarten through 5th grade enjoy the task of competing with others and time. There are several Speed Stacking lesson plans that will help students boost self-esteem and foster confidence all while working on physical skills and having fun.
