I serve Gifted and Talented students in a highly diverse, low-income district. The students come from many different backgrounds and a majority of our students speak a second language. Our students come from supportive families who want the best for their kids but often do not have the resources they need to assist them. These students are focused and excited to learn.
Gifted students are tomorrow's leaders, inventors, problem-solvers, and creators! Providing them with opportunities to think critically and collaborate is essential for their success while providing them more opportunities to be more college and career ready.
