With a wall size world map everyone in the room to see. I can use these World Maps to show students relationships between countries, distances between countries and the location of the world continents. World maps can also help illustrate where and how certain historical events happened. It is easier to see the distances and relationships between areas of the Earth on a world map than on a globe.
The magazine articles will be used to teach mini-lessons. I can also use magazines for evidence-based discussions. Magazine is often more tempting to students to read as compared to a textbook because magazines often have a lot of visual support and low pressure, short articles.
