Help me give my students their own set of headphones to use for individual instruction. Headphones allow them to concentrate and to focus on an individualized reading program while not distracting their neighbors. Every year, I ask the students to bring their own headphones as part of our suggested supplies. Some families are able to send them and many are not. The headphones that families are able to afford usually last for a small portion of the year before breaking. Students end up needing a new pair and I then use my own money to purchase these. By the end of the year, many students end up having to go without headphones for their iPads and it causes distractions to the other students.
