Support Mr. Fletcher's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
This project is an ever growing process. The students will have the opportunity to learn through color! Many students are able to bring their own color pens, markers and supplies. But some students find it more difficult and I lose them. I want to reach all my students so that they feel they can overcome their situations and be a part of the learning community.
The students that struggle are often those that cannot afford or are able to bring in color pens and sticky notes for their notebooks (if they have the notebook). These students will learn but often sit on the perimeter because of the feeling of being left out. It takes time but I get them into the classroom community with my passion for teaching.
I often supply the students with supplies that makes them successful. The students that often fall between the cracks do everything they can to be assigned to my class because they know I will do what I need to make sure they have every chance to feel apart - which make them wanting to learn science. I do this through color and creativity.
