My K's are determined, passionate about learning, and FULL of energy! These kids have a big amount of perseverance for their young age, but they are still 5 and 6 years old. The next best thing to extra recess to get those wiggles out is flexible seating.
These wobble stools improve focus, posture, and learning for all students. My energetic Kindergarteners are constantly moving, and these stools provide them with a productive way to get those wiggles out while helping them still be focused on the lessons. These chairs have been proven to help with posture and focus. Especially in children with ADD or ADHD. This will also minimize distracting and disruptive behavior, and maximize learning. Other options for flexible seating are helpful as well, and I can see my students reaching new levels with multiple seating choices being a tool utilized to create a culture of focus and achievement in my classroom.
