The ultimate goal is to get scholarships and for students to take the knowledge and "skills" to be successful in college! I want my students to become familiar with college options as well as prepare for ACT and SATs. Because we moved to a different room this year, there is nothing on the walls. They have asked to return to my old room with the windows and I have insisted that we make this room our new home. I am trying to help them understand that change can be a good thing and it is important to embrace your new environment and make it work. Seeing college pennants, organizational tools, and an inviting bulletin board will encourage students to do their best with what they are given.
